Air EV Becomes Wuling's Best Selling Product At GIIAS 2023
JAKARTA - Wuling Motors managed to achieve positive results at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Wuling successfully took advantage of the automotive event to attract consumers by presenting vehicles such as Alvez, Almaz, New Almaz RS, Confero, and electric vehicles, Air ev.
Wuling recorded a total of 1,771 units of Vehicle Ordering Letters, which were followed by the number of test drives with Wuling cars reaching 1,619 visitors.
Director of Brand and Marketing of Wuling Motors, Dian Asmahani, said that the positive results achieved by his party were inseparable from the enthusiasm of visitors to several Wuling vehicles during the GIIAS 2023 event.
"We continue to be committed to innovating to provide services and products for a better life in line with the spirit of 'Drive For A Better Life'," said Dian in his official statement, Monday, August 21.
Interestingly, of the 1,771 SPKs recorded by Wuling, 50 percent of them are the Wuling Air ev model which makes it the best-selling vehicle at this exhibition. Ordering more units at Air ev Long Range, while the recently launched Air ev Lite has contributed 143 SPK.
Following Air ev, models such as MPV Conference achieved 20 percent of the SPK results, followed by the Wuling Alvez SUV which pocketed a SPK of 17 percent.

Meanwhile, during the test drive activity during the GIIAS 2023 event, Wuling recorded 1,619 visitors who felt the most tried vehicles from Wuling with the most products were Air ev as many as 1,053 visitors. After Air Ev followed by the Alvez model with a total of 380 and Almaz as many as 186.
In the largest automotive exhibition in Southeast Asia, Wuling launched two new models, namely the New Almaz RS and Air ev Lite. This Chinese manufacturer sells the New Almaz RS at a price of IDR 439.2 million to IDR 472 million On The Road. Meanwhile, Wuling Air ev Lite, which is positioned as the lowest variant, is priced at IDR 188.9 million, in order to heat up the competition for the electric vehicle market below IDR 200 million.
