Prosecutor's Office Detains 4 Village Fund Corruption Suspects In Maluku, Including King Horale
The Maluku High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has detained four suspects in the alleged corruption of the Village Fund (DD) and the Horoale State Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in OW District, West Seram Regency.
Head of Legal Information and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Wahyudi, for estimating state losses from the alleged corruption case for the 2016-2018 fiscal year, reached Rp1 billion.
"The defendants have been detained at the Class III Correctional Institution O for the next 20 days," he said in Ambon, Monday, August 21, which was confiscated by Antara.
The four suspects detained had the initials AK, YMS, RTK and WT.
The suspect AK is known to be a former village head or King Horale, YMS as the Head of the Empowerment Section at the Village Government Agency or Horoale Country, RTK is the Village Secretary, and WT as the Head of Development Section.

Wahyudi said the four suspects were detained after the team of investigating prosecutors at the Central Maluku District Attorney's Office conducted a simultaneous examination.
"The detention of the suspects by the prosecutor is intended to further accelerate the process of handling the case file so that it is immediately transferred to the Ambon Corruption Court," said Wahyudi.
Against the four suspects, the Maluku Prosecutor's Office is suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 Juncto Article 18 of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
