Continuing To Spread Terror, KKB Shoots Dead Three Civilians In Nduga

The armed criminal group (KKB) continues to spread terror. This time, they shot three civilians to death at the Yosoma Complex, Jalan Batu Border, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains.

"Three civilians are known to have died in this incident," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo in his statement, Thursday, August 17.

Based on reports received, the KKB sadistic act began when the three victims traveled from Batu Boundary to Kenyam City on Wednesday, August 16, afternoon. However, until the evening, they reportedly never arrived at their destination.

The TNI-Polri team received a report regarding this and immediately combed the routes of the three victims. Upon arrival at the Yosoma Complex, it was found that the victims had died with gunshot scars.

"The identities of the three victims are Steven Didiway, Michael Rumaropen, and Samsul Ahmad. The police managed to evacuate the bodies of the victims to the Kenyam Health Center for further investigation," he said.

In addition, the Nduga Police Chief, Kompol Vinsensius Jimmy Parapaga, said that from the results of the examination, the victims were strongly suspected of being abused before being shot by the KKB. In fact, the truck previously driven by the victims was burned by the separatist group.

"In addition to being shot, the victims were also tortured to the point of suffering injuries on his body which began when the truck the victims were carrying was stopped and burned," said Jimmy.
