KAI Employees Suspected Terrorist, This Is The Response Of The Minister Of SOEs
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir opened his voice about the alleged employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) being involved in a terrorist network. He said acts of terrorism must be dealt with firmly.
For your information, previously the National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 had arrested a suspected terrorist with the initials DE who is an employee of KAI in Bekasi, West Java, on Monday, August 14.
Erick emphasized that he fully supports the legal process against these BUMN employees.
"I have made a strong statement that terrorism is something that is not good because it must be enforced legally," he said when met at the DPR Building, Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 16.
Previously, KAI management including KAI President Commissioner Said Aqil Siradj had also stated his position regarding this case. KAI supports the legal process and does not provide space for acts of terrorism.

"Of course I fully support what KAI has done," said Erick.
Regarding the tightening selection of KAI employees, Erick only handed it over to the management of this state-owned company.
"Ask the president director and his commissioner," he said.
