Tesla Launches New Chargers For Homes That Can Charge All Electric Vehicles

JAKARTA- Tesla has just launched a new level 2 home charger called the Tesla Universal Wall Connector, with capabilities that other chargers don't have.

Universal Wall Connector can charge any electric vehicle sold in North America without the need for additional adapters.

Universal Wall Connector uses the AC version of its Supercharger Magic Dock to allow chargers to release the built-in J1772 adapter when users need it.

It will charge vehicles using new Charging Standards in North America, or NACS, as well as vehicles with EV inletes with J1772, which have been standard in North America since 2011.

Universal Wall Connector is available and will go on sale today at Best Buy and Tesla Online Stores for 595 US dollars or around Rp. 9 million and can only be sent to buyers in October 2023.
