TNI AL Dumai And The Sadive Task Force Secure 150 Koli Of Used Imported Goods
BENGKALIS - The Dumai Navy in collaboration with the Sadwa-23 Task Force secured 150 koli (kardus 30-50 kilograms) of used imported goods without being equipped with documents from KLM Putra Sejahtera 9 GT 98 in the waters of the Selang Siak Kecil Strait, Bengkalis Regency, Riau.
"150 koli barang impor used ini berasal dari Singapura, dibawa KLM Putra Sejahtera dari Tanjung Balai Karimun tujuan Pekanbaru. Tanpat dilengkapi dokumen yang sah," kata Komandan TNI Angkatan Laut Dumai Kolonel Laut (P) Kariady Bangun dilansir ANTARA, Jumat, 11 Agustus.
In addition to used goods, officers also secured four crew members for questioning.
This used 150 koli item is divided into 50 koli used clothes, 50 koli shoes used for various brands and 50 koli bags and secured by officers at the end of July 2023.

Kariady Bangun explained, the modus operandi of the perpetrators was to hide the used items in the hold of the bottom ship. Then make a double manifest to trick the officers.
