JAKARTA - Long awaited, Mitsubishi finally revealed the name "The All-New SUV" at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) under the name XForce.
With the motto "Infinite Excitement", the Mitsubishi XForce features a variety of attractive features and a formidable design, all arranged in a compact dimensional framework.
With a capacity of five seats, XForce presents extraordinary performance and control, accompanied by uncompromising comfort through a wide interior space, fulfilling consumer expectations and wishes.
Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), explained that XForce is the result of a combination of emotional factors and focuses on comfort and reliable performance, answering demands for daily mobility.
"The presence of Mitsubishi XFORCE will give a new feel to the compact SUV segment in Indonesia that fits various consumer preferences, incorporating futuristic, prestigious, and convenience elements, supported by optimal sales service," said Kurita in a statement on Thursday, August 10.
With the concept of "Silky & Solid", this SUV carries a sturdy design but still puts forward a style impression, making it an ideal choice to explore urban areas.
With the traveler and authority attached, this car has urban aesthetics suitable for the ASEAN region. With inspiration from the XFC Concept design, XForce features a striking front grip with the iconic logo "Three Diamonds" in it.
The front and back bumpers are designed with firm toughness but maintain aerodynamics that help stabilize the journey. The lines on the back also add to the strong impression that can excel in all terrains.
With a ground clearance as high as 222 mm, XForce drivers don't have to worry when passing through mounds or uneven roads.
18-inch rims, combined with large diameter tires, provide better stability and impressive grip power.
Despite its compact size, the SUV is known as the "The New SUV" and offers a wide space with a length of 4,390 mm, a width of 1,810 mm, and a height of 1,660 mm.
Mitsubishi has also released a number of flagship features that will be presented in its latest SUV ahead of launch. One of the interesting features is various driving modes, such as Normal, Gravel, Wet, and Mud.
These four modes allow XForce to address various road conditions with Active Yaw Control (AYC) controls, which dynamically regulate left and right wheels, traction, tire movements, engines, and power steering.
This Japanese manufacturer also collaborates with Yamaha to present the audio system "Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium", providing quality entertainment for car users.
Powered by a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16 machine with CVT transmission connected to the front wheel (FWD), Mitsubishi XForce is capable of generating 104 dk of power and torques reaching 141 Nm.
This latest SUV is produced locally by Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia in Bekasi, West Java, and is planned to be sold not only in Indonesia, but also in various other Southeast Asian countries. Marketing will also be expanded to South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
