Worked On For Two Years, This Bugatti Masterpiece Car Was Immediately Handed Over To The Owner
JAKARTA - The Monterey Car Week exhibition will take place starting tomorrow, August 11 in California, USA and at this event, a Bugatti masterpiece car, the Chiron Super Sport 1 'Golden Era' will be handed over to the owner.
This car is the result of two years of hard work and innovation from the Bugatti design team. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 1 'Golden Era' is a hypercar specially commissioned by a Bugatti collector who wants to celebrate Bugatti history and craftsmanship.
This new special edition pays homage to Bugatti's famous W16 engine and the historic models that made the company one of the world's top luxury brands.
The car features 45 iconic Bugatti sketches painted directly onto the car body, as well as interior details that reflect Bugatti heritage. Meanwhile, as a tribute to the 16-cylinder engine that Bugatti has used for the past two decades, the 3712 components that make up the engine are also depicted on the car's doors.
According to the company's release, on August 10, the car is finished in a special gold color called 'Doré', with a gradient of colors separating it from the metallic black 'Nocturne'. Bugatti's iconic sketch was painted in pencil directly onto the body of the car, a process that took more than 400 hours to complete.

In the interior, three Bugatti icons are painted directly onto the leather seats using a new technique developed by Bugatti. These icons represent Bugatti's past and future, with the EB110, Veyron, and Chiron representing the present, and the Type 35, Type 57 SC Atlantic, and Type 41 Royale representing the past.
"Our customers can be very creative, and we take great pride in helping them achieve what they dream of, but special projects like this are rare. Usually, we only see one or two works of this size every year. Golden Era is perhaps the most challenging personalized work that my team and I have ever worked on," concluded Achim Anscheidt, who retired from his role as Bugatti's lead designer last month.
