Vespa Brings Exciting Updates to the Sprint S 150

JAKARTA - Vespa, a motorcycle company from Italy has released an interesting update for the Sprint S 150 model. The Vespa Sprint S 150 comes with various advanced systems and an alluring new exterior appearance.

This update on the Vespa Sprint S 150 is intended for the Japanese market. Even though it was specially designed for the Asian region, a touch of European retro style is still attached to this motorbike.

As reported by Rideapart on Tuesday, August 8, the scooter design with a retro feel is even more charming with the presence of two new matte color options, namely Bronze Antico or Black Opaco. Both of these colors display such an attractive aesthetic.

Both Bronze Antico and Black Opaco have contrasting details that bring out the main color beautifully. However, the Black Opaco option has a special touch.

The Antico Bronze color has black accents which give it a sporty feel, especially on the rims. Meanwhile, on the Black Opaco, there is a touch of bronze on the rim.

The exclusive impression is increasingly radiated through the special seats with diamond patterned stitching, adding an impression of elegance to this motorbike. Even though it carries a classic feel, modern technology is still embedded in this motorbike.

The Vespa Sprint S 150 is now equipped with a full color 4.3-inch TFT instrument display, which can be connected to mobile devices via the Vespa Mia application. This application provides a variety of information related to motorcycles.

In addition, the Sprint S 150 is equipped with a single disc braking system at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The disc brake disc is covered by a 12-inch diameter rim. Seat height reaches 790 mm, and the wheelbase is 1,334 mm. The total weight of the Sprint S 150 is 131 kg.

Although there are significant changes in appearance, the engine used remains the same. The Sprint S 150 is still equipped with a single cylinder air-cooled engine with a capacity of 155 cc, which is capable of producing up to 12.9 hp of power and 12.8 Nm of torque.

Based on the 2023 Sprint S 150 model, this motorbike starts at 638,000 yen in Japan, or around IDR 67 million. This price includes the 10 percent tax that applies in the State of Sakura.
