JAKARTA - Star and Rabbits will appear at the "Samalas Festival" held by the National News Agency (LKBN) BETWEEN the West Nusa Tenggara Bureau at the foot of Mount Rinjani, East Lombok, on August 26-27, 2023.
Star and Rabbits are a folk band and a little indie pop touch consisting of acoustic duo from Yogyakarta, Ela and Adi.
"Star and Rabbits will appear on August 26 at the Samalas music festival, then the next day there will be Rinjani Color Run like last year," said the head of the 2023 Samalas Festival event, Rahadiyan Salat in Mataram, Tuesday.
He said Star and Rabbits would appear with Lombok musicians such as The Dare, Ary Juliyant, Sisisa, Isvara, Sangga Boemi, Chandra Irawan and others packaged in the Segara Anak Musik Festival series.
In May 2012, Star and Rabbits released the Man upon The Hill music video from their debut album Constellation, which was released in 2015.
Elda's vocal character combined with Adi's guitar excerpt gives a new color in the music industry in Indonesia.
Since its appearance, the works of Star and Rabbits such as Man upon The Hill have been able to steal the attention of Indonesian music lovers, especially folk music lovers.
In addition, he also said that the Samalas Festival was the first music festival to carry three important themes, namely music, color run, and culture which was held at the foot of Mount Rinjani.
