One Ruko Unit In Cengkareng Burns, 13 Fire Cars Deployed For Extinguishing

JAKARTA - A building located on Jalan Taman Palem Mutiara, Block B, No. 23, Cengkareng Timur Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, was hit by another fire on Tuesday afternoon, August 8.

West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) officers continue to work hard to extinguish the fire.

"The object that caught fire was a shophouse. We carried out the deployment of 13 fire engines to the location to extinguish the fire," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifuddin when confirmed, Tuesday, August 8.

The process of extinguishing the fire has been carried out since 14.03 WIB with the deployment of 58 firefighters.

"Currently, we are still trying to extinguish the fire, we have deployed 58 firefighters to the location. The status of the fire is still yellow, it is still in the process of extinguishing it," he said.

Although the fire has not been successfully tamed, West Jakarta Gulkarmat officers at the fire site managed to prevent the fire mitigation on the right and left of the burning shophouses.
