Get 'Neighbor Yard' Bouquet After Basarnas OTT, Alexander Marwata: It Could Be Community Support
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata considers the wreath that reads "happy to enter the neighbor's yard" is not a form of terror. He did not want to accuse who sent it.
"I consider it not a terror and I do not accuse who sent it. It is possible that people who support the KPK. I do not accuse anyone. That is my personal opinion," Alex told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 31.
Alexander said there were four bouquets sent, one of which was to his residence. Not afraid, instead he interprets it as a form of support.
"I am grateful to have the support. Because he congratulated him on Mr. Alexander Marwata's success in entering the neighbor's yard. That's support," he said.

Previously, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, revealed that there was terror received by the leadership of the anti-corruption agency. The terror was conveyed through wreaths to WhatsApp messages containing threats.
"When in recent days we have faced many challenges and threats or terrors of life and violence, which were conveyed to WA and bouquets of flowers sent to structural homes and KPK leaders for eradicating corruption," Ghufron told reporters.
Based on the photo that Ghufron sent to reporters, the wreath was sent to the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Alexander Marwata and the Director of Investigation, as well as the Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Brigadier General Asep Guntur Rahayu.
This shipment was obtained after the KPK carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT) at the National SAR Agency (Basarnas). From this activity, the Head of Basarnas Marshal Henri Alfiandi and Koorsmin Kabasarnas Lt. Col. Afri Budi Cahyanto as suspects for receiving bribes.
