Exhibition Of Indonesian Creative Works (KKI) Symbols Of BI And Government Alignment To MSMEs
JAKARTA Bank Indonesia (BI) together with the government held the Indonesian Creative Works Exhibition (KKI) as part of efforts to develop MSMEs to be more productive and contributive in order to support national economic growth.
Chairman of the National Crafts Council, Wury Ma'ruf Amin, said that MSMEs must rise with the spirit of innovation and collaboration in order to create an inclusive and sustainable economy.
"MSMEs have an important role in the national economy, especially in job creation and increasing people's income," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, July 27.
Similarly, BI Governor Perry Warjiyo said MSMEs must consistently improve quality and added value. In addition, this populist business line must also strengthen the use of technology in business processes and establish synergies with various parties.
"That way the competitiveness of Indonesian MSME products will continue to increase and have the opportunity to go global," Perry said.
The BI boss also said that his party continues to seek education for MSME actors, especially in terms of financial literacy and inclusion.
