TNI Member Hits Cyclists In Sudirman Undergoes Legal Process

JAKARTA - The perpetrators who hit a group of BMCC and Improov cyclists in the Sudirman area towards the HI Roundabout, Jakarta, turned out to be members of the Indonesian Navy (AL).

Director of Law Enforcement at POM TNI Colonel Laut (PM) Khoirul Fuad said that currently, the perpetrators have been taken to the Lantamal III/Jakarta Pomal for examination.

"The case has been handled and is currently in legal proceedings," Fuad told reporters, Monday, July 24.

Another traffic accident occurred between the motorcyclist and a group of BMCC and Improov bicycle clubs in the Sudirman area towards the HI Roundabout, South Jakarta, last Saturday, July 22.

Based on the information gathered, the perpetrator rode a yellow Kawasaki KLX 150 motorcycle with number B 3700 PCY, wearing a blue helmet, white shoes and white sweater.

At around 06.40 WIB, a group of cyclists was passing from the direction of the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium to the HI Roundabout.

"Arriving from behind the group, there was a roar of the sound of motorbikes and long horns and screams for cyclists to move aside," said the victim's attorney, Dian Justian Ibrahim, Sunday, July 23.

Furthermore, the motorcyclist deliberately hit the front of the cyclist, which caused 3 cyclists to fall.
