Involved In Theft Of Glass Breaking Mode, Transjakarta Employees Arrested
JAKARTA - An employee of PT Transjakarta is desperate to steal goods using a broken car window mode in the Tambora area, West Jakarta. The man who worked as a security patrol on the Transjakarta Kalideres bus was finally arrested by members of the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said the arrest was triggered by three incidents of consecutive theft in the Tambora area targeting cars parked on public roads.
The perpetrator AH, assisted by his friend NJ (30) was involved in the last theft on Jalan KH Moh Mansyur Raya, Tanah Sereal Village, Tambora District.
The victim is known to have the initials TN (54). At that time, TN parked his car on the side of the highway in front of the minimarket. However, the victim would be surprised when he found out that the car window in the middle left was broken.
"The victim's laptop and cellphone were stolen. Losses reached Rp. 30 million. The perpetrators used a special glass breaking device to damage the windshield," said Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed, Monday, July 24.
From AH's statement, he has known NJ since 6 months ago. They live next door in the Semanan area, Kalideres.
In the action, AH acts as a motorcycle jockey while monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, NJ acts as the executor of the theft.

The first and second incidents occurred in the Bandengan area, West Jakarta. The targets of the two perpetrators were luxury cars of the Fortuner and Alphard types. From the hands of the perpetrator AH, the police confiscated evidence of the victim's motorbike and cellphone.
"NJ (DPO) is still being chased by members in the field. Suspect AH was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding theft with Weighting. He is already in a detention cell," he said.
