Until Semester I APBN Still Surplus IDR 152.3 Trillion
The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) as of June 2023 was in a surplus position of IDR 152.3 trillion.
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that this figure was equivalent to 0.71 percent of gross domestic product or GDP.
"The state budget until the first semester of 2023 is still in a surplus position of IDR 152.3 trillion," he said during a press conference, Monday, July 27.
The Minister of Finance explained that the positive score brought high expectations in the management of state finances. This is because the 2023 State Budget is designed and set in a budget deficit position of IDR 598.2 trillion or IDR 2.84 percent of GDP.
