Legends Intervene, Hold Persib Legend Tour For GP In West Java

JAKARTA - A number of legends from the Persib Bandung club held a friendly match with a village football club in Tinaragung Field, Subang Regency, Saturday, July 22. Hundreds of residents were seen attending to watch the match.

This match is the inaugural match of a series of matches in an activity with the theme Persib Legend Tour for GP in West Java.

Ignas Yulinar's Implementing Team Coordinator said Persib Legend was a veteran football team consisting of Persib players in the 80-90s, who at that time were known as a team of stars who dominated Indonesian football.

Ignas openly said that the activity was made in order to socialize Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

This event brings a campaign mission for Ganjar Pranowo. Through the media, the socialization of Ganjar Pranowo for President will be echoed in the midst of people in rural areas," said Ignas in an official statement.

In the Persib Legend Tour for GP, the teams that will face Persib Legend are the champion teams at their respective sub-district levels. This event is expected to attract the attention of the audience because it is an educational event for sports, nostalgia, as well as fresh entertainment for rural residents.

A series of names of Persib legends who participated in this agenda included Sobur, Udin Raepudin, Robby Darwis, Dede Iskandar, Yusuf Bachtiar, Ignas Yulinar, Dede Rosadi, Nur'alim, Yaya Sunarya, Suwita Pata, Budiman Yunus, Aceng Juanda, and Ade Abdullah. Furthermore, Khaer Rifo, Dadang Hidayat, Suhendar, Imral Usman, Aries Munandar, Andi Supendi, and Gani Nugraha.

The match between Persib Legend is scheduled to be held every week, namely in one month there will be four matches with the village team in West Java. The second match will be held in October, November, December and January 2024.

"Several matches will be held at the district/city level stadium with the aim of having an amplification effect with a larger number of spectators," said Ignas.

It is known that Ganjar Pranowo has been officially appointed as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. The electability of the Governor of Central Java for these two periods is known to always be at the top in various surveys. Jokowi also recently designed a special clothes that Ganjar would use for the campaign, namely black-and-white line clothes.
