The Prosecutor's Office Appreciated Jokowi, But Still Reminded To Be Careful

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appreciates the Indonesian Attorney General's Office for increasing public trust. However, the number one person in Indonesia reminded to remain careful.

The statement was delivered in his speech at the commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of the Adhyaksa Corps in 2023.

"But be careful maintaining trust, increasing public trust is not easy, don't be complacent," said Jokowi, Saturday, July 22.

The Prosecutor's Office was originally scheduled to get a level of public trust of 81.2 percent. This figure is the highest achievement since 9 years ago.

Therefore, Jokowi asked all levels of the Prosecutor's Office to defend it. Because, it is more difficult than the current achievements.

"This community trust must be maintained, this public trust must be improved and this trust must be maintained and improved with better performance with systematic and institutional work," he said.

Jokowi also asked the Prosecutor's Office to further improve various things, both at the central to regional levels. Thus, community services, especially a sense of justice, can be fulfilled.

"By carrying out a comprehensive planned transformation from the center to the regions," said Jokowi.
