More Details Of Cybertruck Revealed, Can Be Cheaper Than Ford F-150 Lightning
JAKARTA - Since its first introduction in 2019, Tesla Cybertruck has attracted a lot of attention with its revolutionary design and electric power system capabilities. However, the production of this pickup truck has been delayed for several years due to incidents with protective glass that Tesla needs to address.
However, the good news is that the wait of Cybertruck fans seems to be over in the near future. Official documents from the manufacturer discussing production plans in the second quarter of 2023 include information on the Cybertruck.
Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, July 20, the document reveals that production of the Cybertruck is planned to begin at the end of 2023. Currently, this pickup truck is undergoing the final testing phase for certification and feasibility.
In addition to discussing production, the document also provides clues about the size and shape of the Cybertruck production version by calling it the most unique vehicle in the last decade.
"As far as we know, the Cybertruck will be the first truck under 19 feet (suitable for parking in the garage) to have four doors and 6+ feet of beds," the document reads.
Previously, Tesla CEO Elon Musk also provided instructions via posting on his personal Twitter account about the price of Cybertruck competitor Ford F-150 Lightning, calling it "expensive".
This suggests the possibility that the Tesla Cybertruck price will be more competitive than its competitors. Although, Ford is currently cutting the price of its electric pickup on the market.
Currently, Ford F-150 Lightning is sold from USD 49,000 or around IDR 736.1 million.
