PKS President Asks Cadres To Share Challenges To Win The 2024 Election
PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu asked PKS legislative candidates to work with a collaborative scheme in winning the hearts of the people in the 2024 General Election.
This was said by Syaikhu when giving advice to all PKS cadres to work together to win the five-year democratic party while attending the party consolidation in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Wednesday, July 19.
"If we bear it ourselves, it will certainly be difficult, but if we share together these challenges, God willing, it can be lighter," he said, confiscated by Antara.
He instructed all legislative candidates at the central, provincial, and district and city levels to be able to optimize the concept of synergy with each other, both vertically and horizontally so that victory in the legislative election in particular can be realized.
The former Deputy Mayor of Bekasi gave an example of the bitter experience of his party during the 2019 Legislative Election in East Java Province. At that time, according to him, the vote in cities and regencies throughout East Java was 1.2 million, but once to the province it fell to one million and when going to the center only 800 thousand votes.
"After investigating, it seems that the APK equipment brought was not as strong as the one in the DPR RI and when the campaign period ended, the APK had been prepared by members of the DPR RI candidates, it turned out that it was still piling up at the houses of candidates for cities and regencies. So it's not linear like that," he said.

Syaikhu also asked the legislative candidates to develop horizontal collaboration by not fighting for each other's votes in the same barn.
"For example, if it has entered the labor community, it is Mr. Sidharta, I try not to need to go back there unless there are elements of workers or where he lives, now that's what we went to. So what? Our voice, so people are not confused about which PKS candidates want to choose," he said.
Chairman of the Bekasi Regency PKS DPD Budi Muhammad Mustofa explained that this consolidation activity was aimed at gathering, bringing together candidates for the legislature of the DPR RI, provincial and city and district.
"There are also legislative candidates who have not met other legislative candidates, they know and tandem together so that the area is more familiar, so they have to tandem together," he said.
According to him, this collaboration scheme is able to boost the votes acquired by each legislative candidate so that what is the party's target can be achieved.
"The candidates in the district have not been maximized, that's why DPR RI and provincial candidates can distribute attributes, help movement below so that candidates in districts can also be even more enthusiastic to the community," he said.
