KPK Finds Evidence Of Alleged Corruption At PTPN XI Surabaya
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of land for cultivation rights for plantations at PTPN XI Surabaya. The findings were obtained from searches in three places, one of which was the office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI Surabaya on Friday, July 14. "We have finished searching several locations in the East Java region," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, July 17. In addition to the PTPN office in Surabaya, the two places that were searched were the Sugar Assembagoes company in Situbondo as well as several private houses and offices in the cities of Surabaya and Malang. Ali said that from there documents to electronic devices were found. "From that location were found and secured, among others, various land sale transaction documents, electronic devices that have links to the case," he said. All these findings, said Ali, would be analyzed. "The confiscation will soon be carried out to complete the case file," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK confirmed that it was investigating the alleged corruption case of the Right to Use Business (HGU) for sugarcane plantations. The identity of the suspect to the mode of corruption will be conveyed when the investigation is sufficient. The witness will also be summoned immediately to make light of this case. The anti-corruption commission wants the alleged corruption to be clear and the perpetrators can be held accountable for their actions.
