SeaWorld Abu Dhabi Becomes First Outside The United States: Offers Entertainment To Education
JAKARTA - Officially operational on May 22, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) became the first marine life entertainment park to be supported by advanced technology in the Middle East region.
Adding to entertainment options on Yas Island, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was developed by Miral in collaboration with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, a well-known theme and educational theme park company with a focus on zoology conservation.
"SeaWorld Abu Dhabi represents the next generation of theme parks, joining world-class experiences on Yas Island, positioning it further as the top global destination, contributing to Abu Dhabi's growth in tourism vision," said Miral Chairman Mohamed Al Mubarak, as reported by The National News July 13.
"This park will also play a key role in promoting environmental awareness and protecting marine life in Abu Dhabi, the UAE and a wider region, which undoubtedly inspires guests to care for and protect our valuable marine life in the years to come," he explained.
"Together with our partner, SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, we are proud to push science and conservation limits to create truly unmatched science centers, demonstrating our shared commitment to upholding the highest standards of animal care and well-being," Mubarak said.
Having five indoor zones covering an area of more than 183,000 square meters, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi tells the story of a charming One Ocean, bringing guests on a journey of discovery that combines learning and pleasure smoothly in eight immersive natures.
At SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, guests of all ages can enjoy unique family friendly experiences including animal encounters from close range and animal presentations.
This park is also a home for entertainment, rides and exciting attractions, as well as an unmatched dining and shopping experience.
"As the first SeaWorld park to open outside the United States, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi marks an important chapter for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment," said SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Chairman Scott Ross.

"The extraordinary SeaWorld Abu Dhabi marine life entertainment park was born through collaboration and innovation over the years, combining the SeaWorld experience for nearly 60 years in animal welfare and commitment to marine conservation, with Miral's unprecedented track record as the leading developer of world-class goals," explained Ross.
It said SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offered visitors unique experiences with diverse sea-themed nature.
"Together, we have created an advanced marine life theme park, unlike anything the world has ever seen to date, truly representing the next generation of SeaWorld experiences," he explained.
"We believe guests will be amazed by everything SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has to offer and we are sincerely proud to play our role in inspiring their commitment to marine conservation in the years to come."
Each zone represents a different marine environment found around the world, allowing visitors to immerse into the world of discovery.
The One Ocean zone serves as the core of the park, sharing its story through immersive media. It also houses the Animal Care Center and is the gateway to the entire park.
Meanwhile. The Abu Dhabi Sea Zone invites guests to explore the sea life of the Gulf of Arabia, while Rocky Point features sea lions and port sea dogs in a bay inspired by the Pacific northwest.
Next, the Tropical Ocean Zone features vibrant rainforests and blue lagoons, with dolphins, flamingos, birds, and other fish.
While in the MicroOcean Zone, visitors can explore the microscopic world as aUSH, studying its influence on marine ecosystems.
The Endless Ocean here is the world's largest multi-species marine life aquarium, while the Polar Ocean zone offers ice-cold marine views and insight into polar species.

The park also features more than 15 rides and interactive experiences, bringing guests on a unique journey under the waves.
