Threads Update Brings Support For IOS 17 And More
JAKARTA - After successfully reaching 100 million registrants within five days of his debut, Threads for iOS now has his first update with some minor changes.
The launch of this update comes after Apple finally released the public iOS 17 beta. The news of this app update was also shared directly by Instagram software engineer Cameron Roth, on his Threads.
Roth also revealed a list of features and changes to what new builds bring, including the ability to use apps on iOS 17 without crashes.
Unfortunately, it's not a feature like the chronological feed or edit button promised by Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri, but rather the ability to double-tapping search tabs to start searches and expand photos on profiles.
In addition, Threads will also provide extra story support for photos that allow users to be able to view photos in full. The following is a complete list of updates launched for Threads on iOS.
