Cipto, 200 Kg Obesity Man From Tangerang Referred To RSCM Because Equipment Is More Complete

TANGERANG - An obese man weighing 200 kilograms (Kg) named Cipto (45) was finally referred to the Tangerang City Hospital to Cipto Mangun Kusumo Hospital, Central Jakarta. The process of transferring a man from Pinang, Tangerang City, was assisted by dozens of Tangerang City BPBD personnel. In the process, officers had difficulties.

Starting from the treatment room, he was transferred to a hand pallet. After being in the pallet hand, the officers pushed him to the fire truck. This evacuation process became a spectacle for visitors to the hospital.

Arriving, a number of officers were busy lifting Cipto into the back of the fire truck. This evacuation process went smoothly. Cipto was immediately seen with oxygen on his nose.

The Head of Medical and Nursing Services at the Tangerang City Hospital, Doctor Amir Ali, said that in his place there were no specialist doctors for handling diseases experienced by Cipto. According to Amir, at RSCM Cipto will get more effective nutrition.

"We refer to the RSCM, because there has more complete equipment. The treatment is even more effective," Amir told reporters, Tuesday, July 11.

"We already know, patients with severe obesity must handle more effectively where they need specialists related to obesity. Now the RSCM is complete," he continued.

Amir also explained that only now Cipto has been transferred to the RSCM because he is waiting for his condition to stabilize.

"Yes, first we want to stabilize it first, because it must be stable, right. Both RSCMs have facilities and infrastructure," he said.

However, Amir ensured that Cipto's condition was currently improving and was still in the normal stage. Furthermore, when asked about his weight condition, he admitted that he did not know. Because in its place he does not have a device for weight measurements of Cipto.

"We don't have a scale for that size, just an estimate," he concluded.
