Sri Mulyani Optimistic That 2023 Tax Revenue Will Exceed The Target
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani believes that tax revenues in the 2023 fiscal year will exceed the set target.
According to him, until the first semester of 2023 tax revenues have been collected of IDR 970.2 trillion. This amount is equivalent to 56.5 percent of the APBN ceiling of IDR 1,718 trillion.
"Outlook until the end of the year is estimated to be around 105.8 percent of the target," he said on Monday, July 10.
Based on this statement, the estimated tax collection until the end of the year will reach Rp1,818.2 trillion.
Meanwhile, the realization of tax revenues until the first half of 2023 was supported by from PPh 21 amounting to Rp107.7 trillion, VAT imports Rp123.7 trillion, VAT in the country Rp123.7 trillion, final income tax of Rp57.1 trillion.

Then, PPh article 26 amounted to Rp45.7 trillion, corporate income tax of Rp263.7 trillion, personal income tax of Rp9.3 trillion, and import income tax of Rp36.5 trillion.
"This will also support state revenues with outlooks to Rp2,637.2 trillion or higher Rp174.2 trillion from the APBN which was originally Rp2,635.8 trillion," he said.
