Ready To Explode! Angra Announces Cyclles Of Pain Album
JAKARTA - Brazil's progressive power metal veteran, Angra signed an agreement with Atomic Fire Records.
The band's tenth studio album, Cyclles Of Pain, will be released on November 3.
A special ecological release show also took place at Srypto Paulo, Brazil's Marine Hall Tokio on the same day.
Formed in 1991, Angra's lineup currently includes vocalist Fabio Lione (Athena Xix, former Rhapsody Of Fire, ex Vision Divine) with Rafael Bittencourt and Marcelo Barbosa on guitar, Felipe Andreoli (bass), and Bruno Valverde (drums).
"I am very proud to announce that our latest album will come out on November 3 and will be released and distributed by Atomic Fire Records," founding member/guitarist Bittencourt said as quoted by Blabbermouth, Wednesday.
"We are very proud to be part of the Atomic Fire Records family now. This is a special moment for us."
"For me, it was more than 30 years ago that started the band, but also for everyone in Angra, we are now in a meaningful third generation in our third singer era because we have Fabio Lione as a vocalist.

"So this will be the third album of the third generation. This is our tenth studio album, so it's like maintaining legacy and also focusing on the future.
"It's funny to have this partnership with Atomic Fire Records because the word 'Angra' also means a place in Brazil where an atomic reactor was built in the 70s.
"This nuclear power plant was basically created to produce a type of clean energy, but this is very strong that can save the world, but also destroy it.
"It's going to be a huge explosion and metaphoretically we can say that it's going to be a very strong album and I hope to burn the world with music that can heal the soul of a sad and lonely person."
