Ambon Police Investigate Case Of Stabbing Provost Member Kodam Pattimura
AMBON - Ambon Island Police and Lease Islands conducted an investigation into the perpetrators of the persecution and stabbing of a member of the TNI-AD Kopda Benyamin Masela.
"One of the alleged perpetrators was identified as Bryan and a number of his colleagues who fled after stabbing the victim around Merdeka Ambon Square at around 01.40 WIT," said Ambon Island Police Chief Kombes Raja Arthur Simamora in Ambon, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 4.
According to the Chief of Police, the victim was a member of Provost-1 Denma Kodam XVI/Pattimura Ambon.
Corporal Two Benyamin Masella, a member of Provost-1 Denmadam XVI Pattimura is currently undergoing intensive care at the Sumber Hidup Hospital Ambon.
"The victim was evacuated by members of the Sirimau Police, Ambon Island Police because he suffered two stab wounds to the right thigh," explained the Police Chief.
The police have also examined the witness who saw the criminal incident, one of which was a cigarette seller named Silva Tan (30).

Based on witness Silva Tan's testimony, the drunken victim came to buy cigarettes and paid for them with Rp50,000 denominations.
But at that time the perpetrator Bryan and several of his colleagues raised their hands to the witness by saying to return the victim's money amounting to Rp20,000.
Silva Tan then gave the victim's money in the amount of Rp. 30,000 according to the price of the cigarette the victim bought. After that, the victim took out a curse and immediately left.
A few moments later there was a commotion and the witness saw the victim had fallen covered in blood while the perpetrators left the scene.
