KPU Set 204,807,22 DPT In The 2024 General Election

JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has determined 204,807,222 fixed voter lists (DPT), both at home and abroad, which will use the voting rights in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).KPU RI member Betty Epsilon Idroos detailed that the number of DPT consisted of 102,218,503 male voters and 102,588,719 female voters. "That is, the national recapitulation of the final list of voters of the 2024 Election by the KPU," said Betty in an open plenary meeting of national level DPT recapitulation for the 2024 General Election in the Main Assembly Room, KPU Office, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 2.Betty said that the voters were spread across 514 districts/cities and 128 representative countries. Meanwhile, the total number of polling stations (TPS), foreign polling stations, mobile ballot boxes (KSK), and POS were 823,220. If detailed based on voters who would use their domestic voting rights, then the number of male voters was 101,467,243 and the number of female voters was 101,589,505. "With the number of voters in Indonesia for the country of the 2024 Election (was) 203,056,748," said Betty. Meanwhile, the number of voters who would distribute overseas was 751,260 male voters and 999,214 women, so that the total foreign voters in the 2024 Election were 1,750,474. West Java became the province with the highest number of voters for the 2024 elections, namely with 35,714,901 voters. Followed by East Java with 31,402,838 voters and Central Java with 28,289,413 voters. Then, North Sumatra with 10,853,940 in the fourth position and Banten with 8,842,646 voters in the fifth position.

"These are the five provinces with the most voters," said Betty. Meanwhile, the province with the least number of voters was South Papua with 367,269 voters. Followed by West Papua with 385,465 voters and Southwest Papua with 440,826 voters. "North Kalimantan with 504,252 voters and Papua with 727,835 voters," said Betty.
