Jokowi's Warning To The Police: Be Careful, No Matter How Small Your Moves Can't Be Covered
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reminded members of the National Police to be careful in acting in the technological era like now. The slightest movement will be monitored and even recorded and distributed by the public.
This was conveyed by Jokowi when giving a mandate at the 77th Commemoration of Bhayangkara Day at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 1.
"Be careful, now everything can be recorded, it can be distributed, the slightest movement of the Police cannot be covered up anymore," said Jokowi.
Bhayangkara Corps is reminded to be the closest government agency to the community. So, they have to work seriously.
"Every time members of the National Police come into contact with the people, protect the community, protect the community, and serve the community. But, at the same time, the Police also began with the people," said the president.
"So trust in the Police will always be tested. How high is the level of people's trust, how high rakat satisfaction is, it is important," he continued.

Jokowi reminded that the challenges of the National Police in the future will be even more difficult. Starting from security and public order issues to national programs, it must be closely monitored.
Jokowi also said that the National Police had great authority. However, they should not be arbitrary.
"I need to emphasize, the authority of the National Police is great. The strength of the Police is also great. This must be used properly, don't misuse it. There should be no sharp downward perception but blunt upwards. People need a sense of security, people need a sense of justice, people need a sense of dyayomy," concluded Jokowi.
