President Jokowi's Sacrificial Cows Distributed To Hundreds Of Residents In Mesuji
JAKARTA - The Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah sacrificial cow assistance from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo in Lampung Province was distributed to hundreds of residents of Sritanjung Village, Mesuji Regency.
"This sacrificial cow from the President, after being cut, we will distribute it to 450 families in Sritjung Village," said Head of Sritjung Village, Tanjung Raya District, Mat Kalu, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 29.
He said that the super cow from the President of Indonesia weighs about 917 kilograms or almost one ton purchased in Metro City, Lampung and came to their village on Tuesday 27 June.
"Of course, we, the village community, are very happy and grateful to receive the assistance of sacrificial animals from the President of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
According to him, since the arrival of the sacrificial animal from Mr. Jokowi, the public is very enthusiastic about seeing the super sized cattle because so far local residents have only watched cows of ordinary size to be sacrificed.

"So until the cuts are finished, the residents are also enthusiastic. This is sustenance for the people of Sritjung," he said.
He also ensured that this year's Eid al-Adha, 450 families in his village got all the sacrificial animals.
"If usually one house can distribute the qurban, now because there is assistance from cows from the president, the sacrificial meat is excessive, so they are distributed each head of the family," he said.
