Menpan RB: Digital Public Service Mall Ready To Become Super App

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said the digital public service mall (MPP) would be a "super app".

The super app is a multi-existent application that integrates various public services digitally for the community. "In line with the SPBE (electron-based government system) policy that encourages the integration of government services, digital MPP will be integrated into public service portals as a super app for Indonesian public services," said Anas when submitting a report in the "Soft Launching MPP National Digital" activity at the Vice Presidential Palace (Wapres), Jakarta, Tuesday, June 20, confiscated by Antara. Thus, Anas said the digital MPP will be a door that provides all the services needed by the community in the country. Previously, he conveyed various facilities obtained by the public from the digital MPP. First, with the existence of a digital MPP, the public can access public services anytime and anywhere.

Second, the digital MPP developed by Kemenpan RB in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) makes people have enough accounts and once fill in data when they want to access various public services in government applications. "Previously, people filled in data over and over again. After that, the public had enough data input. Previously, the public had to create many accounts in various government applications or e-services, now on the advice of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, so the public only needed one account to access various e-services," he said.

Anas said that the digital MPP is a development of MPP which has been present in dozens of districts/cities as directed by President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin regarding digital public services. Anas said that MPP and digital MPP are a form of reform implementation in the public service sector. In addition, he added, specifically, MPP is expected to increase acceleration in business licensing so that it is able to increase Indonesia's competitiveness in the midst of global competition.
