Argentina Only Scored 2 Goals, Lionel Scaloni: As We Predict, It Won't Be Easy
JAKARTA The Argentine national team coach Lionel Scaloni admitted that the match against Indonesia was a difficult match for his team. Argentina bagged a 2-0 victory in the FIFA Matchday match against Indonesia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Monday, June 19 evening WIB.
"The game is as we predicted, not going to be easy, but the players are still doing their best," Scaloni said at a press conference after the match.
Scaloni's squad appeared to dominate the match. However, they were only able to break into Indonesia's goal in the last seven minutes before the first half break whistle.
The opening goal for the Tango Team was scored by Leandro Parades. The Juventus player conquered the Indonesian national team goalkeeper Ernado Ari through a beautiful kick from outside the penalty box.
