KPK Employees Allegedly Harassment Verbal During Journalist's Liput Examination Syahrul Yasin Limpo
JAKARTA - An employee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is suspected of verbally harassing reporters covering the examination of the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo today. This moment occurred at the KPK building C1, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.
Initially, Syharul left the KPK building area C1 and had been waiting for journalists since morning. Then, journalists continued to flock to follow the NasDem Party politician while asking about the investigation process for the alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture.
Questions continued to be thrown by reporters until Syahrul got into the car. At that time, an employee assigned to carry out security was suspected of verbally harassing him.
"If this is all a girl, it's good, e," said the employee in a crowd of reporters.
The sentence, which was suspected of being a form of harassment, was then heard by a female reporter from an online. He did not accept and reprimanded the employee.
"What does that mean, it's harassment," said the reporter.

The statement made by the employee was also heard by other reporters. Meanwhile, the employee admitted that he did not feel verbal abuse.
Suddenly the statement sparked the anger of a number of reporters. They also had time to pursue the employee to hold him accountable.
The Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, responded to this incident. He apologized for the employee's actions.
"In principle, we apologize to our friends, if then there is an incident outside that is not possible," said Ali.
"After this, we will hold a meeting with fellow journalists, then with the KPK officers themselves," he concluded.
