President Jokowi Will Watch Indonesia Vs Argentina Live
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo will watch the FIFA match day match which brings together the Indonesian national team versus the Argentine national team at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium, Jakarta, Monday at 19.30 WIB.
President Jokowi's presence was confirmed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Zainudin Amali after inaugurating the launch of a new bus for the Indonesian national team at the Garuda Store, Gelora Bung Karno stadium complex, Jakarta, Sunday.
"President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo will attend to watch the match live. It has been confirmed, God willing, he will attend," PSSI Deputy General Chair Zainudin Amali told reporters quoted by Antara.
The presence of the number one person in Indonesia and the increasing number of thousands of Indonesian supporters who will watch the match directly to the stadium, Zainudin Amali said that related to security, it had been coordinated with the security forces and urged supporters to immediately enter the stadium.
"It has been arranged (coordination) related to security. It has been directed. To friends (supporters) please come earlier, don't start the match, just want to come. For those who already have bracelets, they go straight into (the stadium)," said Zainudin Amali.
