This Man Is Engaged To A Sex Doll Named Mochi

JAKARTA - A man from Hong Kong, Xie Tianrong, announced his engagement to his silicone sex doll.

Xie, 36, said he got engaged to his doll named Mochi earlier this month in a ceremony attended by friends and family.

Even though Mochi was just a sex doll, Xie admitted that he never bothered his 'girlfriend'. Xie didn't even kiss Mochi for fear that his saliva would damage Mochi's sensitive skin.

Their strange relationship was caught in a series of videos shared online. In one clip, Xie is seen playing a video game accompanied by Mochi. Mochi's arms embraced Xie.

Xie, who lives with his parents in Hong Kong, bought mochi for 10,000 yuan (IDR 21.6 million) in 2019 after finding a doll shop in the city. He bathes the doll every night in a damp cloth before applying powder and settling it on a chair while she sleeps.

Xie claims his real girlfriend always asks him for things, but Mochi doesn't demand anything from him so "she is easier to date".

“When my girlfriend and I were together before, she always stared at her cellphone, but with Mochi it's different. She will concentrate and give me all her attention", said Xie quoted by the Daily Star, Monday, January 25.

Even though Mochi was an inanimate object, Xie still poured out some money to meet her needs. To date, Mochi has more than 20 sets of expensive clothes and 10 pairs of shoes.

Xie's love for silicone dolls is so strong that the Mochi manufacturer invited him to the factory and gave him an extra silicone head as a gift.
