Vice President Invites To Celebrate The 2024 Election With Joy, Far From Enmity
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin invites all parties in the country to celebrate the 2024 General Election with joy and stay away from hostility.
"Let's celebrate the election with great excitement from hostility," said the Vice President at the Indonesian National Dialogue event which was attended by the Indonesian diaspora in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 13.
The Vice President emphasized that the 2024 General Election agenda should not break the national bond, even though there are differences in the choices of parties and presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"If the kanlakum religion is called waiyadin, you have your religion, for me my religion. If it's different from the party, the lakum party is the vice president of the party. If the presidential candidate is different, then the vice presidential candidate will be the vice presidential candidate," said the vice president.
The Vice President also said that the 2024 General Election should be placed as a process for the birth of transformative leaders.
"The 2024 General Election and Regional Head Election Process must be placed as a process for the birth of transformative leaders who will manage the process of making state policies, both at the national and regional levels," said the Vice President.
The Vice President said that in 2045 Indonesia would be 100 years old, with the vision of a Golden Indonesia, sovereign, advanced, just, and prosperous.
