Bringing The Main Squad, The Palestinian National Team Has Arrived In Surabaya On Sunday Morning
JAKARTA - The Exco Association of Indonesian Football (PSSI) Arya Sinulingga stated that tickets to the FIFA Matchday match between Indonesia and Palestine at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) Surabaya on June 14 had been sold out.
"Tiketnya terjual habis dari kuota yang telah ditentukan sebanyak 40.000 tiket sold out, animo warga Surabaya luar biasa untuk sepak bola," kata Arya Sinulingga saat dihubungi Antara, Minggu.
For this reason, the man who also serves as Special Staff (Staffsus) III of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) also thanked all residents of Surabaya and its surroundings who had purchased tickets for the match.
According to him, by selling out tickets in Surabaya, it can be concluded that in the future the national team match does not have to be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) Jakarta, but it can be in other cities that have high interest.
"So it doesn't have to be in GBK. Currently in Surabaya and maybe in the future it can be in other cities because of the public's interest in watching high football," said the man who was born in Kabanjahe, North Sumatra.
Meanwhile, all Palestinian National Team (Timnas) players and officials who took part in the FIFA Matchday arrived in Surabaya on Sunday morning and are scheduled to immediately carry out training.
"He has arrived in Surabaya this morning, what does it mean, this is an honor for us, that Palestine, which is above us, is ranked, willing to be present in Indonesia," said Arya.
Arya explained that the Palestinian national team nicknamed Al Fida'i came to Indonesia with the main squad.
