First Lady Iriana Jokowi Attends The Berkebaya Parade Followed By 14 Thousand Women In Bali
DENPASAR - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo attended a Balinese traditional women's parade which was attended by 14,000 women on the Island of the Gods, Bali.
At the Arda Candra Open building, Art Center, Denpasar, Iriana looks elegant wearing a Balinese traditional kebaya in pink walking to greet women.
At around 18.00 WITA, Iriana arrived at the main stage accompanied by the wife of Vice President Wury Ma'ruf Amin and members of the Solidarity Action Organization of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM).
Bali Governor Wayan Koster expressed his respect for Iriana's presence at the parade which was first held in Bali.
"The presence of the First Lady is an honor and pride for us local government and all Balinese people. There are more than 14,000 women who look elegant and elegant with Balinese traditional kebaya and are full of enthusiasm to welcome the mother's presence," said Koster as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 9.
Koster said that the Balinese traditional women's parade was a real commitment of the Bali PKK Mobilization Team in preserving a justuhung culture.
Wayan Koster reported to the First Lady that the Province of Bali has a rule that requires government employees, private employees, teachers, and students, to wear traditional clothing every Thursday, full-featured and tilem holy days.
