Withdraw The Handling Of The Rihana-Rihani Twin Fraud Case, Polda Metro Forms Timsus

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has withdrawn all handling of fraud cases involving the 'twins' of Rinahana and Rihani. A special team (timsus) was formed to investigate and arrest both of them.

"We have withdrawn all police reports in the ranks of Polda Metro Jaya from Polres-Polres, South Jakarta Police, South Tangerang, then in various Sub-Directorates," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi to reporters, Friday, June 9.

The fraud case involving Rinhana and Rihani is not only about selling iPhones. However, there is also a case of car embezzlement that was handled by the South Jakarta Metro Police.

In investigating the fraud and embezzlement case, timsus was formed. It is hoped that the twins will be caught soon and immediately prosecuted.

"We will continue to pursue this perpetrator because the losses are quite large, varied. We are mapping it, we are making a special team in the ranks of the Polda Metro Jaya," said Hengki.

The alleged fraud of the 'twins' Riana and Rihani had gone viral on social media. Both are said to have used the Pre-Order (PO) mode.

The Twitter account @mazzini_gsp uploaded the alleged fraud of the two. In fact, the total loss of the victims was said to have reached Rp35 billion.

"The iPhone pre-order fraud case committed by the two twin sisters, Riana and Rihani, with the total loss of the victim reached Rp35 billion. The number of losses for each victim varied from hundreds of millions to billions," wrote the account @mazzini_gsp.
