Commemorating Environment Day, 20 Thousand Mangrove Bibits Are Planted Simultaneously In 10 Cities
JAKARTA - Commemorating Environment Day which falls on Monday, June 5, Cleo takes the action of #StepMurni, as a form of service to the earth. A total of 20 thousand mangrove tree seedlings are planted simultaneously in 10 cities in Indonesia.
President Director of PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk, Melisa Patricia, said this activity is Cleo's routine every year.
Melisa explained that Cleo had planted mangrove tree seedlings continuously every year. This year is carried out simultaneously in 10 cities located at 15 planting points.
Mangrove Tourism Park Penunggal Nguling Pasuruan, Mangrove Park Jung Koneng Bangkalan, Wringin Banyuwangi Tourism Park, and Bahak Beach, Tongas Probolinggo Village.
Then planting was also carried out at Eco Eduwisata Mangrove Tapak Semarang, Mbedono Demak, Tri Mulyo Semarang, Tambak Lorok Semarang Utara, Tirang Semarang Beach, Mangun Harjo West Semarang, Cahaya Kendal Beach, Kendal Ngebum Beach, Sari Pekalongan Beach, and Mangrove Graha Indah Balikpapan Tourism Park.

At the Surabaya Mangrove Innovation Center, Cleo planted 6000 seeds. Melisa said, the benefits of mangroves are very beneficial for the environment and the local community. Mangrove fruit can be processed into camouflage and prevent abrasion. In addition, mangrove trees can maintain water quality.
"Mangrove trees can emit substances that are harmful to the body, so that the water produced becomes cleaner," he said.
