Want To Bring A More Intimate Experience, Promoter Moves The Location Of Tilly Birds Concert

JAKARTA - Promoter Lumina Entertainment moved the location of the concert by the Thai band Tilly Birds from the original at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, to MBloc Live House Jakarta, in order to present a more intimate and better viewing experience.

"We want to provide a better concert experience where all the audience can waddle, jump and have fun together throughout the concert," they said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the band's concert with three members namely Billy, Third, and Milo titled "Tilly Birds Live in Jakarta" will still take place at the same time, 15 July 2023 at 19.00 WIB.

Fans who have purchased tickets according to the previous seat plan will get a new queue number according to the ticket payment hours. The official ticketing partner will distribute further electronic mail containing queue numbers starting the first week of June 2023.

Tilly Birds formed in Bangkok, Thailand in 2011, are described as a group of music-loving geeks with various musical backgrounds who were born and raised in Bangkok, their hometown.

The name Tilly Birds comes from a play on the names of members Billy and Third. They hope that the word 'bird' in the band's name symbolizes their music as something that can lift listeners to a higher place or make listeners fly when listening to their songs.

Tilly Birds debuted on November 1, 2014 with the single "Heart in a Cage" and have since released numerous albums and singles including their hit single "Same Page" (2020), which has topped the charts on Spotify, Cat Radio, and Apple Music, making them famous throughout Thailand.

Their second album "It's Gonna Be OK" was named one of NME's "25 Best Asian Albums" for 2021, while the songs on this album, including "Just Being Friendly" ft. MILLI and "Can't Keep Up" peaked at number one and two on Spotify, Joox, as well as local radio charts. The music videos for both songs reached one million views within three days of their release.

"Just Being Friendly" was even sung again by the K-pop idol group P1Harmony.
