In Front Of The U-16 Indonesian National Team, Roberto Carlos And Sebastian Veron Motivate Through Inspirational Stories
JAKARTA - The U-16 Indonesian national team received an injection of motivation from Real Madrid and Brazil legend Roberto Carlos and former Serie A player from Argentina Sebastian Veron.
Carlos, who is known as a conic player with a "banana" kick, revealed that he started his career through a difficult road from a remote village.
"I come from a small village and I started my career through a difficult road. I step by step found my best football career," said Roberto Carlos at an event in Jakarta, Monday, May 30.
Same with Roberto Carlos, Sebastian Veron, who are both from the Latin American region, started their careers from a village in Argentina to be able to play in the highest European football caste because they have dreams of becoming professional footballers.
"Similar to Roberto Carlos, I also have a dream of becoming the best professional footballer in the world," said Sebastian Veron, who also played for Manchester United.
During the event, the general chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir revealed that nothing is impossible, a dream can still be achieved even for the Indonesian national team players.

"Veron and Carlos also come from a small village. But they can play for Manchester United and Real Madrid. Just like Greece, they were able to win against Portugal at Euro 2004," said Erick.
Asked about the most memorable match in his career, the player with the number three jersey said that his best moment was when he brought the Brazilian national team to win the 2002 World Cup.
"My best moment was when Brazil won the 2002 World Cup," said Roberto Carlos.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Veron revealed that every match he played throughout his career as a footballer was the most memorable moment.
"For him (Roberto Carlos) a match is very important, some are easy, some are difficult, but for me, everything was memorable," said Veron.
