Getting A Comedy Movie Playing Experience, Marthino Lio Says He's Happy

JAKARTA - Actor Marthino Lio has the experience of playing a Detective comedy genre. He admitted that he was happy to be able to show a humorous side in him.

"I had fun because here I can show my banyol side, which is actually really big in real life," Lio said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 27.

In addition, the fun side he felt when playing in the film directed by Rahabi Mandra was being able to interact with small children and dogs as two things he liked.

In the film Detective Jaga Jaratan Lio plays Almond Surendra, a particle detective who helps his clients in uncovering the affair between their partner and two colleagues, a boy named Takdir (Bima Sena) and a dog named Bro.

When offered to play in a comedy film, the role she had never won, the actor who played in the film "Kadet 1947" admitted that he did not see it as a challenge.

"When I was offered, I never saw this as a challenge for every role I sincerely accepted and saw it as a hill that I had to climb," said Lio.

By playing a role in comedy films, Lio wants to show his capabilities as an actor who does not limit just playing movies in one particular genre but can also play in various types of film genres. Lio slightly revealed that he plans to play in a biographical film.

For the character deepening process in the comedy film Lio, he admitted that he made the comedy series "Friends" his reference. The characters of Chandler and Ross in the comedy series from the US became Lio's reference in playing the character Almond.
