Virgoun Ready To Face Inara Rusli's Divorce Lawsuit In Court

JAKARTA - Virgoun and Inara Rusli's divorce process was hampered. The reason is, Virgoun, who filed for divorce, has withdrawn his lawsuit. However, Inara Rusli filed for divorce from her husband on Monday, May 22 yesterday.

Sandy Arifin as Virgoun's attorney said that he had registered himself with the West Jakarta Religious Court by submitting the power of attorney granted by Virgoun.

"On Wednesday (May 24) yesterday we registered the power of attorney, we are waiting for the call. Just waiting and studying the contents of the lawsuit that has been registered," said Sandy Arifin to the media crew at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Friday, May 26.

At the inaugural trial to come, Sandy confirmed that his client would be present for mediation. He said that he had asked Virgoun to directly convey his intention to get custody of his three children to the panel of judges.

"I have conveyed at the time of the first trial he must attend and convey to the panel of judges that he is serious and must show that he wants to ask his son in his guardianship of our client," he said.

"Because at the first trial, if both of them are present, the mediation judge will definitely be appointed outside the judge who is on trial. Later at the mediation judge, when we mediate there is a mediator judge. It will meet the two of them," he added.

However, regarding the preparations that will be made by Virgoun in facing the trial later, Sandy said he was still waiting for information regarding what lawsuits Inara Rusli filed. After knowing it, he and Virgoun will determine what steps are deemed necessary.

"We haven't seen it yet because we just registered last Wednesday. So we are waiting for the contents of the lawsuit. We as attorneys will accept the contents of the lawsuit. We will officially accept it and we will study it, then at the time of the first trial there will definitely be a mediation ageenda event, then we are given time to answer the lawsuit," concluded Sandy Arifin, Virgoun's attorney.
