Aspark Owl Sets New World Speed Record In UK
JAKARTA - Aspark Owl, a Japanese production hypercar that was first officially introduced at the Shanghai Motor Show 2021 exhibition, has set two new speed records. From the start of production, Aspark Owl focused only on making electric cars the fastest acceleration.

This car has 4 electric motors that produce a combined power of 1,985 dk torque 2,000 Nm. The car can reach a speed of 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 1.72 seconds faster than the Tesla Model S Plaid and Rimac Nevera.
In fact, Nevera has just set at least 23 new records, including a speed of 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 1.74 seconds.
Regarding power, Aspark Owl uses a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery that can cover a distance of 450 km and only takes 40 minutes for charging.
Owl's latest speed test was carried out in northern England, to be precise on Alivington Airport. And Owl was awarded two Guinness World Records for having the fastest average speed ever recorded for electric cars in a 200-meter and 400-meter track test.
"It is a great honor for Aspark to be the first to announce this achievement, which was achieved in a short time. When we first announced this project, no one believed it could be done. It is true that we have no long history, but we are now finalizing the first Japanese electric hypercar," said Aspark CEO Masanori Yoshida.
Within a distance of 200 meters the average root reaches 309.02 km/h and for a distance of 400 meters, this electric supercar has a speed of 318.85 km/hour.

Aspark Owl is only produced as many as 50 units with a price of one unit of 2.5 million pounds or around Rp. 53 billion. The company plans to start deliveries later by the end of this year.
