MA Secretary Hasbi Hasan Escaped From The KPK Detention Center, MAKI Surprised: In The Past, The Call For Suspects Was Immediately Detained
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) is surprised that Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan escaped the cold KPK Detention Center (Rutan) today. Even though Hasbi Hasan has been questioned as a suspect in the alleged bribery handling of the case.
"Yes, it's a bit strange and regrets that the KPK is now decreasing its standards," MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman told reporters, Wednesday, May 24.
Boyamin alluded to the KPK usually makes arrests after summoning a suspect. For example, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Azis Syamsuddin, who was caught in a bribery case handling with former KPK investigator Stepanus Robin Pattuju.
"If suddenly this is not detained, the KPK will decrease now with quality. It is not according to standards, it should be detained but not detained," he said.
Not only that, Boyamin also mentioned the KPK, which only shows small values of corruption cases. This is different from other law enforcement officers who even brushed the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny G. Plate.
"Losed with the Attorney General's Office," he said.
Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan can still breathe fresh air today. He did not wear an orange vest and was handcuffed after being questioned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a suspect in alleged bribery in case management.
