Bukittinggi Police Unload Delivery Of Cannabis Packages Via Kotak By Sanjai Crackers
The Bukittinggi Police of West Sumatra revealed a case of the circulation of marijuana-type narcotics, which is rife with the mode of sending expedition packages outside the region.
"We arrested three perpetrators while with a total of 26 packages of marijuana evidence, some of which were sent to Jakarta and NTB via expedition by inserting them in boxes by Sanjai crackers," said Bukittinggi Police Chief Kombes Yessi Kurniati, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 24.
He said the three suspects with the initials R (40) and MH (36), both of whom work as drivers, while the other H (19) is still a student.
The mode of shipping marijuana through the expedition office is starting to occur to trick police officers.
"The perpetrators are looking for branch expedition offices outside the city or those that are not equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras, each of these perpetrators is working with the dealers and buyers we are currently tracking," he said.
Kombes Yessi emphasized that the security of evidence would be further improved until later the decision to destroy it from related parties.
"Of course we don't want any problems, the evidence is combined in an isolated place that is fully supervised by personnel," said Yessi.
The police also appreciated the expedition office for providing information with their suspicions with packages received and sent.

"We will gather all expedition managers in order to appreciate and provide strength for their legal protection," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Bukittinggi Police, AKP Syafri, said that the three suspects had no relationship with each other and were not recidivist.
"The three new players, but one of the owners of the goods sent is our operational target, the identity is known at this time in the investigation process," said Syafri.
The suspect charged with Article 114 in conjunction with Article 115 paragraph (2) in conjunction with 111 paragraph (2) number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
