Sandiaga Values Jazz Music Festival Encourages Target Achievement Of 8.5 Million Foreign Tourists
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno targets jazz music festivals in Indonesia to attract tourists and encourage the achievement of the target of 8.5 million foreign tourists and 1.4 billion domestic tourist movements.
"The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy hopes that events like this can spread hopes and enthusiasm that can be used as a momentum for the revival of tourism and the creative economy in Indonesia. Encourage economic revival and create jobs," Sandiaga said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday.
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga said, appreciates and supports the holding of music concerts, both featuring local and international musicians. jazz music events are considered to be able to attract audiences across generations and become an attraction for tourists to visit.
Meanwhile, in the same written statement, the Director of National and International Events at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Dessy Ruhati, said the Ministry provided support for events in the form of collaboration and facilitation in the implementation of the process of ease of permits and support for publication and promotion amplification.
"We hope that with the absence of PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions), viewers can buy tickets and (the number of spectators) will increase compared to the previous year," said Dessy.
Dessy also reminded music concert organizers to pay attention to various aspects, especially those related to security, risk management, and crowd management.
"The comfort and safety of the audience is a major concern," said Dessy.
