A Couple In Jepara Suspect Throws Their Child Into A Well, Annoyed That Their Child Is Crying Annoyed Because He Is Sick
JEPARA - Jepara Resort Police, Central Java, named a husband and wife couple from Balong Village, Kembang District, Jepara Regency, as suspects for allegedly being involved in throwing their three-month-old child into a well until he died.
"The husband and wife couple with the initials Mr (44) and S (31), apparently had planned to throw their baby away on Monday (15/5). Then it was carried out on Friday (19/5) at 02.30 WIB," said Jepara Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan accompanied by Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner Berry and Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Jepara Police AKP Ahmad Masdar Tohari as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 22.
Based on the statements of the two suspects, he said, his son had been crying and fussy since 10 days ago because he was sick and had not subsided and his son was also in the stunting or tengkes category.
Then, he added, his parents were desperate because they could not do treatment, so they agreed to throw the baby into a well which happened to be near the suspect's house.
The role of Mr (husband) opened the wood that covered the well, then S who carried the baby and threw it into a deep well between 15-20 meters.
From the autopsy results on the victim's body, it was found that there were injuries caused by blunt objects which were possible to have a collision when thrown into the well. Because his parents' previous confession was still alive.

For their actions, the two suspects were subject to Article 80 paragraph 3 and paragraph 4 of the Child Protection Law and also Article 338 or 340 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 15 years or a maximum fine of IDR 3 billion.
Mr admitted that he was reckless because he did not have the money so he could not treat his son. Meanwhile, the treatment of the midwife has not yielded any results.
The suspect also reported to the Kembang Police that his son had been kidnapped. Meanwhile, to strengthen his alibi, the window of the house was deliberately opened so that his son seemed to be taking it.
However, the results of a police investigation with sniffer dogs were finally revealed that the poor baby was deliberately thrown away by his parents.
