Making A Commotion, Motorcycle Gangs In Kebon Jeruk Become A Police Hunt

The Tambora Police are hunting for 10 members of the Jeruk V Garden motorcycle gang who want to fight with sharp weapons on Jalan Tubagus Angke, Tambora, West Jakarta. Meanwhile, another person with the initials KMS (17) was arrested by the police and seized a sharp weapon on Sunday night, May 21.

The arrest of the KMS perpetrator began when he and 10 of his friends were in a convoy carrying sharp weapons at the Tubagus Angke Flyover, Tambora, West Jakarta.

This convoy passed through a security post guarded by members of the 3 Pillars. The perpetrators were then chased and successfully arrested along with evidence of sharp weapons. They were arrested around Jalan Rawa Bebek, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"Two long sickle blades and saw-shaped iron plates were secured. The sajam belonged to the perpetrator with the initials Y (DPO)," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Monday, May 22.

According to the KMS perpetrator's confession, the knife was used to protect themselves. They previously wanted to fight with sharp weapons around Jalan Tubagus Angke. KMS was also arrested after being chased by the police.

"The identities of the 10 perpetrators who are still DPOs are known, they are being chased by the police," he said.

Meanwhile, from the results of the urine test, the police did not find a negative result of drugs on the perpetrators of KMS. The perpetrators of KMS admitted that they carried out a brawl just to spend their free time.

"The goal is that the gang group has a name and is known and recognized by other groups. The perpetrators are still being developed, a number of evidences have been confiscated," he said.

The perpetrators of KMS were the first of 4 children. KMS previously worked as a canteen guard at ITC Cempaka Mas, Central Jakarta. But eventually fired and unemployed. KMS also joined a motorcycle gang. As a result of his actions, KMS threatened Article 2 (1) UUDAR No. 12 of 1951 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code related to sharp weapons.
